Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Full‑Time

Key Responsibilities- Under RN supervision, assess patients’ physical, psychological, and social dimensions in both health care and housing units; contribute to individualized treatment planning and consult with RNs and staff as needed.
- Implement treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners; administer medications, including IV therapy (if certified), and perform diagnostic tests according to established protocols.
- Collaborate in controlled substance counts at the beginning of each shift; adhere to safety techniques, procedures, and standard precautions while responding to codes or health emergencies within standard guidelines.
- Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures; implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans; document nursing encounters using SOAP charting to ensure effective communication with nursing staff, physicians, and other relevant personnel.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions; demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to policies and procedures in providing high‑quality patient care.
Education
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
Licenses/Certifications
- Maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
- Hold and maintain CPR certification.
