Position OverviewAs an Applebee’s® Assistant Manager, you will lead day‑to‑day operations, cultivate a culture of care, and ensure guests and staff have a positive experience.
Duties and Responsibilities- Deliver timely, friendly service in line with company guidelines.
- Enforce Flynn’s core values and maintain a culture of excellence.
- Respond promptly to guest complaints and conduct table visits as required.
- Control departmental inventory and perform line checks to meet quality standards.
- Schedule staff to meet sales and service demands.
- Maintain safety, security, and sanitation compliance.
- Report maintenance issues to management promptly.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members using company programs.
- Monitor performance, document evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback.
- Enforce company policies, including discipline and corrective actions.
- Control costs and monitor local, state and federal regulations.
- Conduct bi‑weekly or weekly food and liquor inventories.
- Complete accurate daily paperwork and sanitize according to health standards.
- Model leadership for managers and staff.
- Learn all store technology systems.
- Assist in all restaurant positions as needed.
- Participate in the Management Development Program.
- Minimum 2–3 years of restaurant management experience.
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications are a plus.
$15.38 – $26.44 per hour ($44,850 – $68,500 annually for a 50‑hour work week). Potential monthly bonus where applicable.
Physical Standards- Work various shifts, including weekends.
- Stand and move continuously for up to ten hours.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Read, write, and use small tools.
