Midwest Electric and Generator seeks a Journeyman Electrician to lead an installation crew, provide on‑site residential and commercial electrical troubleshooting, and perform daily generator installations. The position requires travel throughout the state, a valid driver’s license, and a Journeyman/Journey worker Electrician license.

• Oversee/lead Electrical Apprentices
• Install generator remote monitoring systems
• Install automatic transfer switches
• Perform dealer checkout and startup
• Work with electrical systems on a daily basis
• Company‑provided vehicle and cell phone
• Be physically capable of bending, squatting, lifting, and working in all temperatures year‑round
• All tools and items required are company‑provided
• Maintain day‑to‑day updating of customer accounts in local system
• Pass a background check
• Position is available in Elk River, MN, with overnight travel

• Journeyman Electrical License (Required)
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong communication skills
• Good understanding of residential and commercial electrical wiring
• Basic understanding of residential and/or commercial generators

Hourly wage: $45–$55
