Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement art lesson plans for students and adults of various age groups and skill levels
• Teach students and adults various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
• Provide guidance and feedback to students and adults to help them improve their artistic skills
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves through art
• Organize and maintain art supplies and materials
• Collaborate with other program partners to integrate art into interdisciplinary projects and activities
• Plan and coordinate art exhibitions or showcases to display students' artwork

Qualifications:

• Experience in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
• Previous experience teaching art to students and adults of different age groups preferred
• Strong knowledge of various art techniques and mediums
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire creativity and foster a love for art in students
• Patience and understanding when working with students and adults of different skill levels
• Organizational skills to manage art supplies and plan lessons effectively

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
