Direct Support Professional (RBT)
Join us at Lighthouse Autism Center as a Direct Support Professional (RBT) to provide high-quality, center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism.
Job TypeFull-time
DescriptionAs an RBT, you will work with clinicians and behavior analysts, providing ABA therapy in a center-based, play-based, naturalistic setting. You will help children develop educational and social skills, track progress, and support transitions to traditional school settings.
Responsibilities- Work one-on-one with children (18 months to school age) to provide ABA therapy.
- Collaborate with clinicians and behavior analysts to implement custom therapy plans.
- Use creativity and enthusiasm in a play-based setting.
- Help children progress in educational and social settings and prepare for transition to a traditional school.
- Track and document progress for each child as you implement custom therapy programs.

- Paid training for RBT certification and ongoing career-level training.

- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred but not required.
- Experience with children preferred but not required.

- Lifting/carrying more than 50 lbs; sustained impact tolerance; ability to perform physical tasks such as running, crouching, squatting, kneeling; full range of motion; ability to move quickly; strong verbal and written communication.

- Background check and drug test at hire.
