Join us at Lighthouse Autism Center as a Direct Support Professional (RBT) to provide high-quality, center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism.

Description

As an RBT, you will work with clinicians and behavior analysts, providing ABA therapy in a center-based, play-based, naturalistic setting. You will help children develop educational and social skills, track progress, and support transitions to traditional school settings.

Responsibilities
  • Work one-on-one with children (18 months to school age) to provide ABA therapy.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and behavior analysts to implement custom therapy plans.
  • Use creativity and enthusiasm in a play-based setting.
  • Help children progress in educational and social settings and prepare for transition to a traditional school.
  • Track and document progress for each child as you implement custom therapy programs.

What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience with children preferred but not required.
  • Passion for working with children with autism spectrum disorder and their families.

  • Commitment to support a learner’s progress daily.
Requirements
  • Lifting/carrying more than 50 lbs; sustained impact tolerance; ability to perform physical tasks such as running, crouching, squatting, kneeling; full range of motion; ability to move quickly; strong verbal and written communication.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.
  • Background check and drug test at hire.
