Business Unit: Thermal Ceramics

As part of our Thermal Ceramics business unit you will oversee production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on‑time delivery while empowering your team to achieve operational excellence.

• Champion safety as the top priority and foster a premier safety culture through VSL/think
  
  Safe activities.
• Provide training opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.
• Coordinate production operations, including staffing, scheduling, and problem‑solving to maintain on‑time delivery and meet production goals.
• Monitor performance metrics for quality, efficiency, and output, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure smooth transitions between shifts through effective handovers and communication.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and improve quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and operational policies, such as 5S principles, PPE usage, and documentation control.
• Provide coaching and feedback to empower team members and resolve challenges on the production floor.

• Associate degree or equivalent education; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (JDE experience preferred).
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Lean principles.
• Citizenship:
