Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Approve in‑process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
- Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re‑work; confirming re‑work.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re‑work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
- Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

- Knowledge and experience in the use of hand tools will be a plus. Knowledge and skill is acquired through working experience or on‑the‑job training.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
This employee may be required to have a high school diploma or GED. In addition, this employee may be required to participate in annual training for Hazardous Waste Recycling and fire safety.
Language SkillsThis employee needs the ability to read and verbally communicate in English.

This job may bring employee in contact with hazardous chemicals and fumes. For this reason, respirator certification is optional.
