Position Summary:
This position plays a vital role in supporting Five Star Life growth, impact, and success through effective marketing and communications efforts. This includes work with Five Star Life radio, podcast, and video media management, social media management, targeted advertising, photography and videography, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management
- Pull engaging clips from radio, podcast, and video curriculum to use in social media
- Post on social media, targeting certain audiences and calling followers to action
- Engage on social media with friends and those Five Star Life follows
- Show effectiveness of social media with high numbers of engaged users
- Radio, Podcast, and Video Curriculum Media Management
- Manage the recording, editing, and packaging of Five Star Life Radio and Podcast shows
- Send or upload packaged radio and podcast content to the proper channel
- Manage the recording of Five Star Life Video Curriculum
- Package and send Video Curriculum content to the proper channel
- Marketing
- Plan, prepare, and execute effective marketing campaigns
- Know the calendar for all Five Star Life program areas and other events, and utilize the full calendar to market for
- Show effectiveness of marketing with high numbers of program registrations
- Manage marketing campaigns with checkpoint dates that mark events in the campaign calendar and draw in more registrations
- Branding and Content
- Uphold the Five Star Life brand through the creation of fliers, digital resources, etc.
- Gather, organize, and utilize a variety of photos and videos from different Five Star Life programs and sites that show an appealing and clear picture of Five Star Life.
- Field and complete communication requests by Directors for other digital resources needed
- Organizational Support and Other as Determined by The Business Office
- Participate in team meetings, staff workdays, service projects, and fundraising event support
- Support logistics for events and occasional fundraising activities
- Drive between Five Star Life sites (Elkhart, Union, Mishawaka, and Osceola)
- Develop and maintain systematic and efficient approaches to all tasks to ensure completion at a high level and in a timely manner to support organizational goals and needs.
- Expense request order submissions as applicable.
- High level of character, integrity, and reliability
- Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Possesses skills and experience in photography and videography
- Excellent video and photo editing skills
- Knowledgeable about social media marketing strategies and marketing campaigns
