American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Neuro Med/Surg night shift position requiring BLS and NIHSS certifications and a minimum of one year recent experience.

• Work in a hospital-based Medical Surgical - Neuro unit
• Treats stroke, AMS, and standard medical patients
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 (3x12 hours)
• Required to work every other weekend
• No call responsibilities
• Floating to other units may be required
• Staff-to-patient ratio is 1:5 to 1:6
• Uses Cerner charting system
• Two additional 'level-loading' shifts required per 6-week schedule period, with flexibility to choose weeks
• Provide nursing care to patients with neurological and medical conditions, including stroke and altered mental status
• One holiday shift per contract required
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Local candidates are not accepted

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum one year of Med/Surg or Neuro RN experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are accepted
