Description
ACTIA Corporation has been manufacturing quality vehicle electronics and diagnostic equipment for growing markets such as Off-Highway, Bus & Coach, Truck & Fleet, Marine and Specialty Vehicles for over 30 years. ACTIA Group is an international group based in Toulouse, France. We are currently looking for a Quality Manager to join our team in Elkhart, IN. The Quality Manager plans, coordinates and directs the ACTIA Quality Program.
As the Quality team leader, you will be expected to direct all quality department associates in regards to the organizations policies and practices. As management Quality representative you will be responsible to maintain the integrity of the QMS, understand and meet customer expectations as well as various statutory and regulatory requirements.

Working Conditions
- Movement - This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and on the production floor. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Operate/Use - Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e. copier, printer, calculator)
- Ascend/Descend - Rarely ascends/descends stairs to reach archived files
- Communicate - This position frequently communicates with co-workers, managers and supervisors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Transport - This position frequently lifts or moves 25 pounds, occasionally moves up to 50 pounds for various needs.
- Work Environment - Relatively quiet but fast paced.
- Travel - Occasional travel to customers and vendors, with overnight stays, may be required.

- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Training and experience in Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean or Six Sigma preferred
- Experience in electronics device design highly preferred
- Experience in Tier 1 & 2 automotive component manufacturing or similar fields is preferred
- Experience working within a design and manufacturing environment
- Proficient computer skills with MS Office or similar systems
- Training and experience in the following quality techniques, disciplines and standards:
- APQP/PPAP/FMEA
• Corrective Action - Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Root Cause Analysis - Gauge R & R
• Failure and test data analysis - Process Capability, Control and Improvement
• Supplier Auditing - Reliability Assurance
• Internal Auditing - ISO 9001:2015
