Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining our fleet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing regular maintenance and emergency repairs on various diesel engines, ensuring our vehicles are running smoothly and efficiently.

Applicants must have proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic and possess a deep understanding of diesel engine components and systems. A strong grasp of diagnostic tools and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively is essential.

The role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Effective communication with fleet management and adherence to safety standards and protocols is critical.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines and components
• Possession of a professional certification in diesel mechanics or a related field
• Comprehensive understanding of diesel engines, including electrical systems, hydraulics, fuel systems, and emissions systems
• Skilled in using diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and fix issues
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy parts, bending, and standing for long periods
• Strong attention to detail to ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed accurately and thoroughly
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to effectively address unexpected issues during repairs
• Good verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction with team members and documentation of work
