High School Head Volleyball Coach

Job Summary

Jimtown High School is seeking a passionate, skilled, and dedicated individual to lead our varsity volleyball program. The Head Volleyball Coach will play a pivotal role in developing athletes, fostering teamwork, and building a competitive and successful volleyball program.

• Develop and implement practice plans tailored to skill development and team improvement.
• Teach and promote the fundamentals, strategies, and techniques of volleyball.
• Model and foster good sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork among players.
• Communicate effectively with student‑athletes, parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee game preparation, player development, and in‑game decision‑making.
• Adhere to district, conference, and IHSAA guidelines and policies.

• Previous coaching experience is preferred.
• A strong understanding of volleyball rules, strategies, and techniques.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with players, staff, and the school community.
• A commitment to developing athletes both on and off the court.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Must pass a background check.
