Position Overview
As a CBRF Caregiver, you will provide personalized care and support to residents in our home. Your role will include assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and safety of residents, and promoting their overall well‑being.
Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed, monitor for side effects, and document medication administration.
- Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in residents’ health conditions, including physical and emotional changes.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support, engage residents in meaningful activities, and foster a positive and caring environment.
- Household Tasks: Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily logs, incident reports, and care plans.
- Compliance: Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience: Previous experience in a caregiving or related role preferred but not required.
- Certification: CBRF certification or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hiring. Standard precautions certification completed before starting on the floor. Medication pass certification not required, but preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist residents, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks related to caregiving.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check as required by facility policies.
