Overview

The Boat House of Lauderdale Lakes Service Department is looking for an experienced Marine Technician to join the team.

Location:

Elkhorn, WI, USA. Pay Rate: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour.

Employment Type:

Full Time. Benefits include: 401(K) Matching, Dental Insurance, Employee Discount, Flexible Spending Account, Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Vision Insurance. All candidates are required to have previous marine, auto, or heavy equipment engine experience. Preference given to candidates with dealership experience. The Boat House will help you pursue Master Certification while paying better than competitive wages.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repair services on marine engines, propulsion systems, and related components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a variety of marine vessels.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, and modifications to enhance the performance of marine systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including parts used and work performed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Willingness to travel to different locations for on-site services.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Marine Technician with expertise in marine engine systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong knowledge of various marine vessels, including boats and other watercraft.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in diverse environments.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver s license and a clean driving record.
Schedule

This position is full-time with a schedule of Tuesday through Saturday and seasonal overtime opportunities.
