Responsibilities
- Receives, responds, transmits, answers, and/or verifies messages and/or inquiries received over communication equipment.
- Operates all applicable radio equipment, computer terminal, and telephone equipment; dispatches/receives radio, computer data, and telephone communications.
- Shift work required.
- Performs related work as required and other duties as assigned.
- Training
:
Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent. - Experience
:
One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in public contact work. - Substitution
:
College hours, related business school, or vocational training may be substituted through an established formula for the required experience.
- A successful background check.
- Base Salary: 31,850; upon successful completion of training will advance into the Career Progression System.
