Facility:
This regional hospital serves as a critical healthcare provider for northeastern Nevada, featuring 25 Medical/Surgical beds and 7 ICU beds. The facility provides comprehensive care to the surrounding communities with modern amenities and a dedicated healthcare team focused on quality patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Cover call shifts for specific periods:
January 1st 7am to January 9th 10pm, January 29th 7am to February 6th 10pm, and February 8th 1pm to February 13th 10pm

• Manage 2-3 patient encounters per shift

• Preferred skills include non-invasive and ventilation management for newborns and pediatric patients

• Experience with intubation for newborns and pediatric patients preferred

• Ability to perform conscious and deep sedation procedures

• Competency in various procedures preferred: central line placement, arterial lines, UVC, UAC, lumbar puncture

• Additional preferred skills: paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tube insertion, needle pneumothorax decompression

• X-ray and EKG interpretation skills preferred

• Experience with PA catheter and exchange transfusion preferred

• Ability to perform suturing of minor lacerations, circumcisions, and swallow studies

• PALS certification required

• Must be licensed in Nevada or hold IMLC licensure

• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
