Position: GIS and Asset Data Officer

Join the Asset Management team as a GIS and Asset Data Officer, where you will be responsible for:

Improving asset data integrity and undertaking spatial data capture activities, including sourcing data from 'As Constructed' plans and Asset Design and As Constructed (ADAC) electronic files.

Contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of asset data capture processes.

Performing basic condition assessments to update Council assets.

Managing large, complex datasets related to assets and GIS data.

Applying your knowledge of asset management systems, practices, and processes with high attention to spatial accuracy and detail.

Interpreting engineering drawings and cross-validating with spatial data.

Using ESRI ArcGIS to capture and manipulate spatial data effectively.

Demonstrating excellent time management, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.

This is a permanent, full-time role.
