As a Full Time Medical Assistant (MA), you’ll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Elko, NV
. Anticipated work schedule will include rotating 4x10 shifts of 8:00 am–7:00 pm (Monday–Thursday and Tuesday–Friday) plus one weekend per month of Saturday & Sunday, 8 am–2 pm.

• Interview patients and measure vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
• Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Prepare treatment rooms, clean and sterilize instruments
• Administer medication, including injections; perform laboratory tests; operate EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations
• Perform administrative tasks, assist at the front desk, schedule appointments, make follow‑up calls, and order medical supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned

• National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization OR certificate/diploma and transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands‑on externship completed and passed (total online courses are not accepted)
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• State Lab Certificate (NV only)
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $20.00 – $25.00 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
