Front Desk Agent / PBX – Full Time – Join the Maverick Team!

Pay Range: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour

Hotel Front Desk Agent / PBX Responsibilities
  • Provide superior guest service, positively affecting interactions with external and internal guests and team members; resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with co-workers.
  • Check guests in/out of hotel.
  • Issue room keys and collect payment for room.
  • Responsible for shift paperwork and Front Desk bank.
  • Assist guests with any questions and address concerns.
  • Use PBX Phone System.
  • Communicate using radio equipment with Security, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Slot Department, and shuttle.
  • Answer all incoming calls and transfer to the correct departments.
  • Enter reservations and cancellations as requested by guests.
  • Set up wake up calls for guests.
  • Perform related and/or other duties as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel occupancy status, special events, in-house groups and other situations affecting the reception desk.
  • Set/Reset Pin numbers for Player club card accounts.
Requirements
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Be able to read, write, and type.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Must be 21 years or older and obtain a Nevada Gaming license.
  • AML Training.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull loads up to 40 pounds.
  • Punctuality and reliable attendance.
  • Honesty and Integrity.
Working Conditions

This position works shifts (Day, Swing, and Graveyard) seven (7) days a week. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Uniform provided by employer.
