As a Competency Center Manager at Epiroc USA, you’ll be at the forefront of our service operations—driving sustainable profitable growth, optimizing performance, and ensuring safe, efficient delivery across our parts, service, remanufacturing, and consumables business. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing talent, improving processes, and reinforcing our reputation for operational excellence and exceptional customer support.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, develop, and support a high-performing team by executing all phases of the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and succession planning, while fostering a results-driven culture.
- Implement and refine best-in-class operational standards and remanufacturing procedures for Epiroc USA, ensuring safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement using lean methodologies.
- Develop and implement appropriate business strategies and priorities for each targeted market segment utilizing territory management skills with close collaboration with sales teams to ensure full and efficient utilization of the operation.
- Build and maintain strategic customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction, loyalty, and alignment with Epiroc’s long-term service goals.
- Leverage data insights to optimize operations, inventory, and service delivery in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, while aligning with sales teams to meet evolving customer expectations and regional demand.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product experts, and business line leaders to align local execution with broader commercial and technical strategies.
- Demonstrate visible leadership and a strong sense of accountability for achieving operational results, while maintaining compliance with ethical, social, and environmental standards.
- Establish and grow a technical training center to build workforce capabilities and support the rapid development of critical skills across the region.
Knowledge/
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in operations, business management, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the mining or construction aftermarket sector, ideally with a background in parts and service operations.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate others, make timely decisions, and delegate effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Technically proficient with strong mechanical knowledge and the confidence to resolve issues and present root causes to internal and external stakeholders.
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to navigate business applications, maintenance platforms, and reporting tools while effectively managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop reports, present ideas, and respond to inquiries across multiple levels.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel as required to support business and customer needs.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $130,000 to $200,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay based on skills, experience, and market standards. The role also includes 20% variable compensation and a company vehicle.
