• Description NNRH is looking for an experienced OR RN.
• The likely candidate must have excellent IV skills and critical thinking for rapid response assessment.
• The OR RN will be able to assist surgical team during surgical procedures.
• Participates in call and stand-by schedules.
• Prepares the Operating room for cases by setting tables, instruments and supplies according to type of case.
• Must know and practice the principles of aseptic techniquemaintain an aseptically controlled environment.
• Knowledge of the proper equipment for each procedure, as well as prepare equipment and supplies necessary to perform each procedure.
• A nticipate surgeons needs in sufficient time for the surgical teams use.
• Maintain the accuracy of all sponge, needle, and instrument counts.
• Is responsible for assisting with between case clean-up and with preparations for the next case.
• Clean, assemble and prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for sterilization when needed.

• Nevada RN license required.
• Current BCLS, ACLS and PALS upon hire.
