Description

Provides direct patient care to patients in the Emergency Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Consistently monitors and records on patients to ensure accurate, complete and timely documentation.

Relative to the patient age group(s) served:

• Demonstrates knowledge of normal growth and development stages
• Assesses and interprets Population Specific data
• Possesses the necessary skills/knowledge to perform treatments
• Utilizes appropriate communication skills
• Possesses knowledge of appropriate community resources
• Involves family and/or significant other in the plan of care

• Nevada RN License;
  Certifications; BLS, ACLS and PALS
• Previous critical care experience preferred.
• Ability to retrieve, communicate or otherwise present information in a written, typed, auditory or visual fashion is essential.
