DescriptionNortheastern Nevada Regional Hospital is looking for a Pre OP and Post Op RN for the Surgery Department. The likely candidate will be able to understand surgeries, instrumentation, and equipment needs for the care of patients in Pre Op and Post OPRN. The qualified RN will also have the ability to complete paperwork and organize tasks in an efficient manner; participate in call and stand-by schedules;
monitor and record patient records to ensure accurate, complete and documented; maintain all required reports, records, statistics, etc.; prioritize and organize delivery of nursing care and be able to consult with other specialists as appropriate and adjust nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care; perform patient assessment to ensure that patients are prepared for scheduled procedures.
This position requires that the candidate must be able to lift/carry 50lbs.
QualificationsAssociates degree or higher required for the position.
Previous Nursing Experience preferred.
Nevada RN license required. Current BLS, ACLS and PALS upon hire.
