Registered Nurse; RN Behavioral Health

Schedule

3 - 12hr Day shifts per week (6:45 am to 7:15 pm)

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. The Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) is newly reopened and dedicated to providing compassionate, patient‑centered care to support community wellness and recovery.

• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
• Assess patient conditions and make timely determinations of patient needs.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Document medical necessity in the medical record promptly and accurately.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and elimination.

• Current Nevada State RN license.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 14 days of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
