About the UnitNortheastern Nevada Regional Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. The Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) is newly reopened and dedicated to providing compassionate, patient‑centered care to support community wellness and recovery.
How You’ll Contribute- Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
- Assess patient conditions and make timely determinations of patient needs.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Document medical necessity in the medical record promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and elimination.

- Current Nevada State RN license.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support certification required within 14 days of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
