3 - 12hr Day shifts (6:45 am to 7:15 pm).

As an RN, Charge Nurse, joining our Behavioral Health Unit team, you will be part of a mission dedicated to making communities healthier.
Our newly reopened Behavioral Health Unit is dedicated to meeting a vital need in our community, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a safe, supportive environment for healing.
How You ll Contribute- Proficient in assessing patient conditions and determining patient needs in a timely manner.
- Provide leadership and team coordination by supervising nursing staff, delegating tasks, and supporting smooth unit operations.
- Maintain clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Perform timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record.
- Facilitate and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards through engagement with performance improvement and other initiatives.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs.
- Current Nevada State RN license
- Associate s degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire
- A minimum of one (1) year RN experience in an acute hospital setting

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is a 75-bed facility located in Elko, Nevada. Elko is the largest city in Elko County and is known for nearby recreation and natural beauty. The hospital offers a wide range of services and is recognized by the American College of Cardiology as an accredited Chest Pain Center.
