Emergency Room RN

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As an essential member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, support medical staff, and ensure the safety and comfort of patients in critical situations.

• Assess and triage patients upon arrival in the Emergency Room.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform catheter care, airway management, and tube feeding when necessary.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical team.
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and eClinical
  
  Works for accurate documentation.
• Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and emergency care practices.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in senior care settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with occupational health practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in nursing.
