Operations Associate - Elko Shopping Plaza
The Operations Associate role is to create an outstanding customer experience by performing operations functions within the store. This early‑morning position involves working with a team to perform functions prior to store opening.
Primary Responsibilities- Customer Service – You maneuver around the store at a fast pace, work with the latest merchandise, and provide assistance to customers who need help or information.
- Executes pricing and signing – You change ticket prices and sign merchandise across the store quickly and accurately.
- Replenish and restock the store – You understand customer needs, pull and prepare merchandise for the sales floor, and ensure all styles and sizes are available.
- Receive and unload merchandise – You help unload a truck and prepare merchandise in the backroom.
- Backroom standards – You keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
- Omnichannel – You contribute to online pickup, ship‑from‑store, order delivery, and returns, as well as shipping online orders and merchandise receiving.
- Merchandise strategy – You execute placement plans and maintain merchandising standards to deliver an outstanding customer experience on the sales floor.
- Participates in a learning environment – You absorb new information from peers and training materials on merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes.
- Results – Solve problems and make smart decisions that drive sales, profit, or customer service; execute your work efficiently and inspire strong performance in yourself and others.
- Ownership – Provide great customer service; cooperate and build positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships; take accountability for your actions and outcomes.
- Intensity – Proactively find ways to improve the customer experience; show confidence and courage to do what’s right; take action with energy and urgency.
- Work experience – 1–2 years of retail experience.
