Essential Responsibilities:
- Support mining operations by performing various tasks on the labor crew
- Collect samples, lay pipes, and backfill trenches (will train on these skills)
- Complete production reporting and other required documentation
- Communicate effectively and professionally with team members
- Lead both safety and production efforts by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous mining experience is preferred but not required
- Awareness and understanding of mining safety and MSHA policies (preferred not required)
- Current MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is preferred (training will be provided if necessary).
Work Conditions:
- Ability to work overtime when required
