Lead Automotive Mechanic Technician - New Hire Bonus $3,000

- Perform the responsibilities of a level 1 – level 3 auto tech.
- Carry out a wide range of repairs: brakes, drivability, steering, suspension, electrical, safety inspections, AC, major engine.
- Conduct advanced diagnostics and complete repairs.
- Replace clutch and transmission.
- Collaborate with individual techs to assess vehicle needs.
- Provide guidance, direction, or train associates in supporting roles.
- Perform quality control checks on all work and notify supervisor of exceptional or unsatisfactory work.
- Ensure maintenance SOPs are carried out.
- Identify developmental opportunities for staff.
- Monitor workflow and recommend productivity improvements.
- Approve ordering and disposition of parts, supplies, materials.
- Notify management of difficult issues, patterns, or trends.
- Model safety behaviors and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Safe driver with valid driver's license.
- 7+ years of automotive service and repair experience.
- Ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles.
- High school diploma or GED.
- ASE
Certifications:
A1‑9; L1 in emission states when required.
Hourly base pay: $31.54 - $47.31 per hour. Base rate may vary by location and candidate qualifications. Additional compensation may include commissions and incentive programs.
