CompensationHourly base pay rate is $32.31 - $48.46/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

You’ll spend a lot of time serving as a master‑level auto tech performing heavy‑duty work and providing direction, guidance and technical expertise to shop personnel. Other responsibilities include:
- Performing the responsibilities of a level 1‑level 3 auto tech.
- Performing a wide range of repairs, including brakes, drivability, steering, suspension, electrical, safety inspections, AC and major engine.
- Performing advanced diagnostics and complete repairs.
- Clutch and transmission replacement.
- Working with individual techs as required to assess specific vehicle needs.
- Provide general guidance/direction or train associates in supporting roles and/or less experienced associates.
- Perform quality control checks on all work; notify supervisor of exceptional or unsatisfactory work.
- Ensuring auto maintenance standard operating procedures and activities are conducted to deliver desired outcomes.
- Identifying developmental opportunities in staff.
- Monitoring workflow processes and recommending areas to improve productivity.
- Reviewing and approving ordering and disposition of parts, supplies and materials.
- Alerting management about difficult issues, patterns and trends.
- Modeling safety behaviors and ensuring techs comply with all health, safety and environmental requirements.

Qualifications:
Required- Valid driver’s license required.
- 7+ years of automotive service and repair experience.
- The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- ASE
Certifications:
A1‑9; L1 in emission states when required by leadership.
