In 2020 alone, Saval Food service worked to distribute and donate over 15,000 boxes of food goods in partnership with Johns Hopkins.

Our operations team is led by Senior Vice President Gary Peisach, who is a sitting board member of Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland, a non-profit that tackles feeding impoverished and elderly clients in the Baltimore region.

One of our most successful Saval Cares Initiatives is our annual charity golf tournament that has raised over $350,000 for the Children’s Cancer Foundation since its inception over 19 years ago.

We’re a proud allied member of the Restaurant Association of Maryland, the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington, Uni Pro Buying Group, and the International Association of Food service Distributors.

Full Time, Sunday 12:00pm to finish, Monday-Thursday 11:00am to finish

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Prior experience with warehouse/production work.

Provide support in the following areas when needed upon request:

• Package products and run both Cryovac machines.
• Setup and Operate Large Cryovac Machine.
• Pull products from main cooler for Meat Cutters when needed.
• Help stock Steak products in Main Cooler when needed.
• Trim Meat products when needed.
• Follow all GMP’s as trained.
• Clean area as you work to maintain personal and product safety.
• Work in cool (36 degrees) and wet environment.
• Able to lift 85 lbs.
• Perform repetitive movements and standing over long time periods.
• Standing for long time periods.
• Basic Math Skills.
• Able to work independently, be well organized and perform multiple tasks.
• Able to handle product according to specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.

• $17.50-$19.00 per hour.
