Driver-Night Shift Truck Jockey

• Safely move and position refrigerated straight trucks and trailers within the yard and at loading docks.
• Operate a yard spotter or semi-truck with a valid Class A or B CDL.
• Ensure proper alignment of trailers at dock doors for efficient loading/unloading of perishable goods.
• Monitor and report trailer temperatures and reefer unit status as needed.
• Inspect equipment for damage or mechanical issues; report concerns immediately.
• Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams to maintain an accurate and efficient yard flow.
• Maintain clear documentation and complete daily yard check sheets.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, food safety, and company guidelines.

Full Time

Night shift, Sunday-Thursday

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a good driving record.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in yard jockey or CDL driving, preferably in food distribution or refrigerated freight.

• Comfortable operating refrigerated straight trucks/trailers and checking reefer units.
• Able to work overnight hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Strong understanding of yard safety and trailer handling procedures.
• Capable of working in various weather conditions and in cold environments near refrigerated docks.
