No previous experience or education is required.

You will spend your day behind the wheel, helping ensure vehicles are in the right place at the right time. You will:

• Safely drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale days and throughout auction grounds, following all auction driving procedures, traffic laws and defensive driving practices.
• Transport vehicles to and from designated areas on auction premises, as well as customer dealerships and business locations, providing a professional and courteous experience.
• Stage, organize and park vehicles in the correct order based on direction from supervisors or team leaders.
• Help locate misplaced vehicles or move inventory as needed.
• Prepare vehicles for movement by performing basic tasks such as inflating tires and jump-starting vehicles.
• Communicate vehicle issues to the appropriate teams.
• Provide helpful, friendly support to customers, dealers, account representatives, rental agencies and coworkers.
• Follow all safety and health procedures and actively contribute to a culture of safety excellence.

• May be required to work overtime based on business needs.

You are dependable, enjoy staying active and take pride in working as part of a team. You also have the following qualifications:

• A valid driver's license and safe driving record

• High school diploma/GED
• Previous auction experience
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to walk long distances
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

This role may involve frequent exposure to varying outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise levels.

To be employed in this role, you will need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. However, we are a drug-free workplace, so the possession, use or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours, on company property and/or in company vehicles is prohibited.

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
