Anesthesiologist - Christiana Care, Union Hospital - Full Time

Opening for an anesthesiologist to join the nationally recognized 75-bed Christiana Care, Union Hospital in Elkton, MD, as a full-time role with North American Partners in Anesthesia.

Christiana Care, Union Hospital is a nonprofit community hospital serving Cecil County, MD and nearby communities. The hospital provides advanced, personalized healthcare with a focus on clinical excellence and a supportive care environment.

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Provide medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtain and/or verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient; manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor the patient’s physiological condition and intervene as needed

• M.D. / D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia
• Current physician licensure

  Daily with call (3 calls with post-call day off)

• Salary:
  Up to $500,000 annually
