Job Summary

Mid-Atlantic Oral Surgery Specialists & Dental Implants is a privately owned 2 locations Oral and Maxillofacial surgery practice located at Elkton, MD and Glen Burnie, MD. We are seeking a full time or part time BC/BE Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our well established and busy practice! As an oral surgeon on our team, you will see multiple patients on a given day and offer medical and surgical recommendations for their issues.

You will also conduct both minor and major oral surgeries, including dentoalveolar procedures and bone grafting, dental implants, All-on-4, pathology and IV sedations. The ideal candidate has all the necessary licensing with the state of Maryland, has excellent chair side manner and good communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide consultations with patients, and give your medical opinion on surgery needs and potential outcomes.
  • Perform both routine and complex dental surgeries, including extractions, grafting, and implants under IV sedation.
  • Work closely with referring dentists and medical professionals to provide the best care possible.
  • Complete excellent post‑operation and treatment notes and maintain meticulous records.
Qualifications
  • Must hold current DDS or DMD degree, and be licensed with the state of Maryland.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
