Part‑time teacher to work with students in person, one‑on‑one in our private school, Augustine Hills School, for core subjects in middle school and high school.

  Wilmington, DE 19803 – just off I‑95 and Route 202 at a convenient, quiet location.
• Type:
  Part‑time, in‑person.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Schedule is flexible).

• Provide personalized, one‑on‑one instruction in middle school and high school subjects of literature and math.
• Develop tailored lesson plans based on student needs and learning styles.
• Create an engaging classroom experience that brings math concepts into real‑life contexts.
• Assess students’ progress and grade their work, while maintaining accurate documentation of lesson plans, progress, and grades.
• Collaborate with other educators and administrators as needed.
• Adjust instruction techniques to accommodate students with learning differences.

• A minimum of 3 years of teaching middle school and high school students in core subjects, including literature and math up to Algebra I (not including student teaching).
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Within a 30‑minute commute of ZIP code 19803.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt lesson plans and teaching approaches based on student engagement, need, and skill level.
• Previous experience developing a curriculum, assessing students, and grading their work.
