About the job AutoCAD Designer (Direct Hire)

FCS is seeking an experienced AutoCADDesigner for a leading industrial manufacturer in Elkton, MD. In this role, the Designer will play a key part in supporting the Project Management team by creating, revising, and reviewing detailed 2D and 3D blueprints, engineering drawings, and related documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with AutoCAD 2D & 3D software, and a background working within a Welding/Fabrication & CNC Machining environment.
• Experience using ASME (Section I, IV, or VIII) standards in developing and modifying technical blueprints and drawings.
• Skilled in creating and reading shop fabrication drawings, spreadsheets, technical engineering drawings, specifications.
• Ability to create BOMs, technical drawings and preliminary cost estimates.
• 2 Year Technical Degree is highly preferred.
• Must have:
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
