. This is a full-time, commissioned career opportunity that can be hybrid based out of our Downtown Elkton location in Elkton, MD
.

• Solicits first mortgages through contacts with realtors, builders, and developers. Works with customers to identify and secure a mortgage loan appropriate for their financial circumstances and goals, including home ownership.
• Develops and expands referral sources to solicit first mortgages. Maintains regular contact with realtors, builders, and developers. Attends open houses, meetings, and trade events to build relationships and generate new business.
• Collects and analyzes applicant financial information to assess eligibility for loan programs. Interviews applicants, gathers income, assets, debts, credit history, and property details. Recommends loan products and terms that best meet customer needs while explaining risks and benefits. Ensures compliance and completes loan documentation.
• Performs loan processing tasks: analyzes financial and credit data, follows loans through to approval and funding, communicates with customers throughout the process, and ensures regulatory compliance in all documentation.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• 1+ years of recent residential mortgage lending experience. Experience in the Fulton Mortgage Company Associate Mortgage Loan Officer Program may be accepted in lieu of 1 year of experience (Required).
• 1+ years proven ability to develop referral sources from outside the organization (Required).

• This role is fully commissioned.

• Regulatory and compliance:
  The position may require registration in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry. You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for a work visa by Fulton Bank currently or in the future.
