Job Description

We are seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee the Critical Care and Telemetry Unit. This manager will work under the direction and guidance of the department Director. The manager is responsible for the direction and administration of the department(s). In addition, the manager promotes the provision of compassionate, high quality health services by working with staff, physicians, hospital departments, and community agencies.

This role requires employees to demonstrate initial and annual competencies in critical care and telemetry to remain in the position. The manager is responsible for performing other duties as assigned by the Director.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, or Bachelor of Science (BS) in a health-related field. Certification required within six months of hire.
• Must have a Registered Nurse license from Maryland or a Compact State.
• Minimum of 2-5 years experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.

Must have management experience and Critical Care Certification.
