Senior Quantity Surveyor

Overview

Fawkes And Reece are proud to be working with a regional contractor that specialises in commercial interior shop fitting across retail, commercial, hospitality and leisure sectors. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for working on state‑of‑the‑art refurbishment and fit‑out projects primarily across restaurants, bars and hotels, with typical project values ranging from £50k to £4m.

• Negotiate prices and obtain quotes for works, materials and plant in compliance with company procedure.
• Quality check invoice details from all suppliers to ensure value for money on all jobs carried out.
• Build strong relationships with customers to ensure open communication and expectations of invoicing are met at all times.
• Prepare and submit regular and accurate cost/value reports.
• Manage the commercial aspects of subcontracts in compliance with commercial procedures, including obtaining quotations, evaluating tender returns, valuing subcontract works and payments and agreeing subcontract final accounts.

• Relevant Degree or Qualifications
• Experience of managing multiple projects.
• Proven experience of developing client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent planning, organising, prioritisation and project management skills.

• Salary up to £65,000 DOE
