Position: Re-use Administrator (Online Sales and Product Listings)
Salary:
Up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience + up to £5k bonus

Location:

Elland, West Yorkshire, HX5 9JD

Working pattern:
Permanent, full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Role overview

We are recruiting two Re-use Administrators to join the growing re-use operation at areera in Elland. These are varied, hands-on administration roles managing online product listings, keeping product information accurate and supporting the resale of electrical items and components.

You will create detailed, accurate online listings and make sure items are correctly identified, described and recorded for resale on eBay, Shopify and other online marketplaces.

The two positions each focus on a different product area:

TV Parts and Components:
Identify, record and list TV parts and components for resale. You will work with technical product information, research part numbers, check compatibility and write clear, technically accurate listings.

Household Electricals and Components:
List and administer household electrical items and spare parts for small domestic appliances. You will identify products, research specifications and make sure listings contain accurate descriptions and relevant product information.

What you’ll be doing

Creating, updating and managing online product listings on eBay, Shopify and other selling channels

Researching product details, part numbers, specifications and compatibility

Writing clear, accurate product descriptions

Maintaining product databases, spreadsheets and stock records

Making sure products are correctly categorised, priced and recorded

Uploading and managing product images and supporting information

Monitoring and updating existing listings to keep them accurate and available

Working closely with the re-use and operational teams to obtain product information

Supporting the administration of online sales, orders and stock movements

Identifying ways to improve listing quality, product information and administrative processes

Keeping records accurate, organised and up to date

What you’ll bring

You will ideally have:

Previous experience using online selling platforms such as eBay, Shopify, Amazon or similar

Experience creating and managing online product listings

Excellent attention to detail with product specifications, descriptions and part numbers

Strong organisational and administrative skills

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other data management tools

Confidence researching products and technical information online

The ability to work accurately with large volumes of product information

An understanding of online marketing, e-commerce or product management tools

A proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to manage your own workload

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a busy team

The following would be beneficial:

Experience in e-commerce administration, online retail, product data management, digital marketing or marketplace listings

For the TV Parts position, an interest in electronics or experience with technical components, part numbers and product compatibility

For the Household Electricals position, experience listing consumer products, electrical appliances or spare parts
