• Safely dismantle end‑of‑life vehicles
• Strip, inspect, clean, and refurbish reusable components
• Overhaul assemblies to operational standards
• Record all parts removed and support inventory
• Liaise with workshop and fleet teams to supply required components
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop and operate equipment correctly
• Assist with fleet repairs, reassembly, and waste management tasks

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability
• Methodical, detail‑focused approach
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Safety‑conscious mindset

• NVQ Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Experience with heavy vehicles, plant, or component rebuilds
• Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
• Forklift licence (or willingness to train)
• Full UK driving licence
