The Administrative Assistant 2’s primary responsibilities include providing complex administrative support to the Associate Vice President of Student Engagement and Success, the Office of the Vice President of Student Engagement and Success, and the SES Executive Directors as needed. Key duties involve calendaring, answering phones, correspondence, records retention, minutes, website updating, and travel arrangements. The position requires confidentiality, in-depth knowledge of university policies, and the ability to interact positively with diverse backgrounds, including students, parents, staff, and the public.
Additionally, the Administrative Assistant 2 supervises three to four student staff on an ongoing basis and works in a high-paced office with many contacts.
