The Divisional Coordinator, after completing position and/or department specific competencies, provides support services to nursing staff, providers, and other medical staff. The role may report to a Department Director or Manager and is responsible for coordinating communication between staff, patients, and providers. The coordinator serves as a contact for internal and external customers regarding patient care and throughput in the designated unit, gathers and maintains data for process improvement, participates in improvement initiatives, keeps divisional services statistics current, provides exceptional customer service, demonstrates critical thinking and organizational knowledge, and may assist with equipment trials and capital purchase quotes.
Qualifications– Required
- High school diploma
- One year of applicable experience in a healthcare setting
- CPR card within 90 days of hire (maintenance required – required by December 2025)
- Basic Nursing Assistant class; current Washington State NAC license (maintenance required)
- Previous experience in materials management
- Previous experience in a hospital patient care area
- Previous experience with patient scheduling
- Previous office experience
Wage Range: Starts at $25.21/hour and goes up to $40.55/hour, based on years of applicable experience.
FTE: .60 = 24 hours/week; hourly.
