Job Description
The Divisional Coordinator, following completion for position and/or department specific competencies, provides support services for nursing staff, providers and other medical staff members as appropriate. Divisional Coordinators may report to their specified Department Director or Department Manager. Maintains a high level of responsibility for effectively and efficiently coordinating communication between staff members, patients and providers. This position is a contact for internal and external customers relating to patient care and throughput in their designated unit.
Gather and maintain data related to process improvement as requested by the department director or Charge RNs. Participate in process improvement as it relates to each division. Keep all divisional services statistics up to date. Provide exceptional customer service, commitment to team participation, and demonstrate proficiency in critical thinking, self-direction, and organizational knowledge. May also assist with coordinating equipment trials and obtaining quotes for capital purchases.
What is required...
- High school diploma
- One year of applicable experience in a healthcare setting
- CPR card within 90 days of hire (maintenance required – required by December 2025)
- Basic Nursing Assistant class; current Washington State NAC license (maintenance required)
- Previous experience in materials management
- Previous experience in a hospital patient care area
- Previous experience with patient scheduling
- Previous office experience
Wage: Wage range starts at $25.21/hour and goes up to $40.55/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience.
FTE: .6 = 24 hours/week
