Patient Care Technician – Emergency Services – Full Time (36 hours/week)

The Patient Care Technician, after a supervised orientation, reports to an RN and/or another licensed professional. The Technician delivers patient care within their scope of practice, in addition to routine certified nursing assistant and/or unit secretary duties, is trained to do basic rhythm interpretation, to use specialty equipment and to assist in procedures. The Technician delivers care within their scope of practice under the direction of an RN and/or another licensed professional.
Whatis required
- Basic Nursing Assistant class; current Washington State NAC license;
- Current CPR card (maintenance required);
- Basic Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation Training (must attend training within 6 months of hire)
- Six months experience as an NAC
Wage: Wage range starts at $19.80/hour and goes up to $31.85/hour. Actual wage will be based on years of applicable experience. Applicable shift differentials may also apply:
Evening shift (3 p‑11 p) = $2.50/hour;
Night shift (11 p‑7 a) = $3.50/hour;
Weekend shift = $4.00/hour.
FTE: 0.9 (36 hours/week)
