Life Enrichment Coach- Weekdays

Summary

Primary role of the Life Enrichment Coach (LEC) is to encourage personal growth through goal-based support while providing daily living assistance to KIM clients in their homes and community. LECs motivate and encourage clients toward their goals in line with Residential Service Guidelines.

Shift: Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 12am

$17.50 - $18.50 hourly

• Help clients with emotional and behavioral regulation techniques as outlined in their individual plans.
• Assist clients in achieving personal and program goals and evaluate goal completions and denials.
• Support client money management, including petty cash, receipts, checkbook, and EBTs.
• Provide daily hygiene support per individual care plans, including brushing teeth, bathing, hair washing, toileting, etc.
• Administer medications and document activities, including nurse-delegated tasks.
• Transport clients to and from activities and appointments, or arrange transportation services as appropriate.
• Complete all daily, weekly, and monthly forms, reports, and data sheets.
• Supervise clients’ daily activities and living conditions to ensure health and safety.
• Assist with cooking, eating meals, and grocery shopping.

• High school graduate or equivalent (required)
• Intermediate experience supporting living, preferably with individuals who are developmentally or otherwise disabled adults.

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Criminal background check cleared before working alone unsupervised with clients.
• Valid driver’s license or State .
• Ability to follow instructions, organize, and set priorities.
• Outstanding communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension.
