Veterinary Technician, Licensed

If so, we are looking for you! We are looking for a great veterinary technician to join our team, support our 6 veterinarians, and create a positive experience for our clients and their pets.

We are a respected, multi-doctor, established mixed veterinary practice. Our primary hospital is located in beautiful rural Ellensburg, WA and our satellite clinic is in Cle Elum, WA. Our core values and emphasis on work/life balance contribute to our low staff turnover rate. We utilize Ezyvet as our cloud based medical software provider.

This job may be for you if you:

Have a current veterinary technician license in Washington State.

Practice our core values of: welcoming, compassion, teamwork, excellence, dedication and integrity.

Are comfortable working with dogs, cats and farm animals (equine experience desirable).

Are knowledgeable in all aspects of veterinary technician duties, veterinary assistant duties, training, and WAC's.

Can obtain and record medical histories, vitals, test results and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Can effectively communicate with other staff members.

Can deliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance to clients and their pets.

Can perform routine in house and send out laboratory tests.

Are comfortable in using DR systems, class IV rehab laser (we will offer training and certification), endoscope and the knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting the medical equipment used daily.

Are proficient at preparing/performing/assisting in medical procedures.
