We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic Grocery Clerks who can help create an outstanding customer experience by providing exceptional service and maintaining a safe, clean store environment. You will assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals and monitoring all established quality assurance standards.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Assisting customers to discover and find products, recommending items, and ensuring they receive the items they want.
• Checking product quality, reviewing sell‑by dates, and taking appropriate action.
• Labeling, stocking, and inventorying department merchandise.
• Reporting product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Maintaining current knowledge of products, seasonal ads, and special offers.
• Ensuring food safety regulations, temperature controls, and preventive maintenance practices are followed.
• Providing a welcoming environment and reinforcing safety programs, including identifying unsafe conditions and reporting accidents.
• Working cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflict calmly and honestly.
• Performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).

Desired experience:

• Customer service experience.
• Retail experience.
