The Mental Health Access Team West & Central have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Team Administrator to support the West locality. You will work within a multidisciplinary team completing a variety of administrative tasks to support the team. The successful applicant will be expected to provide a high standard of comprehensive administration service including:

Responsibilities
  • processing of referrals
  • making and receiving calls to service usersand other personnel
  • booking appointments and maintaining nurses diaries
  • accurately recording onto the patient records system
  • typing of correspondence
  • supporting the team with other appropriate admin tasks.
  • reception duties in Ellesmere Port/Chester area.

The applicant will also be expected to be able to organise and prioritise their own workload on a daily basis to ensure that time deadlines are met and that urgent work is accommodated. This is a varied role and can be demanding at times whilst supporting the clinical team.

You will need to be a motivated and resourceful individual to join our team. You should possess commitment to team working and innovative delivery of excellent standards of work. We are a supportive, competent and caring team. We aim to provide high quality administrative support services across the West locality to improve the safety, health and well‑being of the people within our area.

Qualifications
  • To apply for this post you must have the relevant administrative qualifications and demonstrate the appropriate experience within this field of work.
  • Evidence of good typing skills e.g. RSA 111/NVQ Level III in an admin related subject or equivalent, Experience of working in a health environment
  • Experience of working as a member of a team in an office environment
  • Experience of general finance systems
  • Experience of processes and procedures within this service area
  • Demonstrate alignment with Trust Values (6 C's: Commitment, Communication, Care, Courage, Compassion, Competency)
